Ko Samui, Thailand

Woke up at 11 ! This is becoming habit but no-one is counting. Went to the gym for a quick workout after which we had a delightful brekkie, then headed to Maenam beach. Actually, we ended up at a resort which is built on a kinda peninsula with part of their beach on the Bhoput side and the other on Maenem. We settled down on the Bhoput side for some time after which we were very apologetically asked to move to the Maenem side as there was a wedding that was going to take place there. We obliged and whiled away some more time in the sun. After watching the first few minutes of the wedding procession, we decided to annex real estate closer to the centre of Maenem while utilizing the last few rays of the day. We headed out west on the ring road, found a robot, turned right and parked. We stepped onto the beach, walked along the beach for about 5 minutes and found a beach restaurant with deck chairs on the beach. We settled in for a couple of beers/shandies and before realizing, it was dark, we were hungry and tired, so we decided to stay right there for supper. We moved up the pecking order and was shown to a table and chairs, on the front line of the beach, amazing. Had a wonderful supper of curry, roasted vegetables and some other foodstuffs I cannot remember, not sure whether this was due to short memory failure, or the beers.
